Empire Education Group announced the 2006-2007 Operating Team Awards on Friday, November 30, at the corporate headquarters.
Diane Hengstler, Executive Director for the NE Philadelphia Empire Beauty School, and Margie Wagner-Clews, Director of Education for Empire Education Group, were both selected to receive the Chairman’s Excellence Award.
The award is decided by the Executive Committee, which chooses one co-worker from the field and one from the Home Office for recognition at the annual awards banquet.
The Chairman’s Excellence Award was created to annually recognize co-workers within our company who continually demonstrate the highest levels of dedication and commitment to the success of our students, schools and company.
Through his/her everyday performance, the recipient(s) of this award consistently demonstrates the Core Values around which the company operates. Criteria for this award include tenure, ethics, attitude, teamwork, leadership, and overall performance.
Other top award winners were recognized as Mary Hannon from Region 3, who earned Regional Director of the Year for best overall region performance, and Vincent Scala, Executive Director of the Manhattan, NY, Empire Beauty School, who received Executive Director of the Year for best overall school performance during 2006 through 2007.
